There is a video and film program hosted by academy, which has been dedicated to world cinema and art house. This program takes place in the Doris Duke Theatre of the museum.
The Bishop Museum of the census designated place of Honolulu has the status of being the leading culture institution of the whole of Hawaii. It also has the status of being the largest museum of all the museums of Hawaii.
